Double deep pallet racking is one of the special application for conventional selective pallet rack, it involves back to back rows of 2 deep selective rack. Each pick slot has a front and a back pallet. To access the back pallet, requires a deep reach attachment on the lift truck.


The Key Benefits for Double Deep is the following:


Doubles the density of racking between the aisles.


Provides double the storage space per SKU to accommodate faster movers.


Flexibility - reach trucks equipped with deep reach attachment can still fulfill all other reach truck functions.

2. Basic Components:?


Similar to the selective pallet racking, Double deep racking has the same basic element such as frames and beams. It also consists of a?full range of accessories to fulfill all of your requirements. The system is designed for the optimized storage of goods of all sizes and weights.?


Product Details:The frames are composed of 2 uprights and a number of diagonals. The frames are bolted, resulting in a lower repair cost if they are damaged by lift trucks.Each connection is secured with a safety lock.The uprights are very accurately cold-formed, they can be produced in lengths of up to 12m for a single piece.

The finish of all painted parts is an Epoxy-powder coating polymerized at 180 °C.? The standard colors are RAL 5010 (= Dark Blue) for the frames and RAL 2004 (=pure orange) for the beams. Protectors are painted in RAL 1008 (= golden yellow). Some smaller parts have a?galvanized finishing. Special colors are available on request.?
