Assistant Manager (Service Manager) _ Data centre_ITIL


Purpose

Assistant manager (Service Management) ensures service delivery of projects within or beyond Business Systems contractual Service Level expectation cost effectively.


Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:


Identify areas of improvement in the ITIL –aligned IT Service Management process or Service Delivery operation support structure based on gaps in quality and service delivered
Conduct periodic quality assessment to determine the Operations service delivered of conformity to the ITSM processes and instigate corrective actions when necessary.
Identify areas for improvement and trigger service improvement plans to ensure the continual suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of ITSM processes and related procedures, including Call Centre and Data Centre services
Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures in providing Service Management operations support services
Ensures that all support request are dealt with according to the agreed procedures and policies and schedules
Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders and external parties on Service Delivery operations support related matters
Review periodic report on the issues raised/resolved and identify trends of issues raised and make recommendation to improve service level of operations support.
Review and prepare periodic Service Management support report for management reporting
Analyzing and report on incident and problem statistics to identify Operations and customer trends for management update
Maintain Customer Intimacy with principals, partners, and customers as defined in each business (project) area
Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum qualification:


Degree in Business, Marketing or IT related fields

Experience required:

At least 6 years working experience in an IT service delivery capacity and possess high customer intimacy. Has a good development of customer relationship management. Some audit and/or IT security experience would be preferred.
