Associate RF Engineer

Job Scope

1. To perform GSM / 3G / LTE RF Network Planning and Optimisation for indoor cellular networks


2. Dimensioning / Planning of 3G/LTE indoor cellular networks


3. Design of indoor network layout through the use of link budgets and the recommendation of network architecture and components


4. Pre-design site survey to assess condition / layout of building environment


5. Collection of measurement data after installation of network and before handing over to customer


6. Compilation of engineering reports during the design process


7. Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the network are met through optimization processes


8. Experience in CAS ATP reports and tendering design work for SingTel, StarHub, M1 & GRID System


9. Knowledge/experience in nemo5 post-processing work


10. Carry out optimisation and acceptance test using NEMO or Ericsson TEMS


11. Meeting with customer to resolve technical issues


12. Recommend suitable network architecture for the indoor network


13. Recommend network parameter and configuration changes during optimization process


14. Recommend procedure and routines for optimization network


15. Meeting of customer specified KPIs for the network


16. Meeting of project time schedules

Requirements:

1. Diploma / Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Infocomm Technology or related discipline


2. Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics with majors in RF or Wireless Communications


3. At least 2 years relevant experience in the wireless (GSM) industry


4. 1 year\\\'s experience in an indoor cell planning role for 3G (WCDMA)


5. 1 year in CAS ATP work for all Telco


6. Experience in planning indoor networks through the use of link budgets, and familiarity with indoor infrastructure components


7. Prior experience in using measuring tools e.g NEMO or Ericsson TEMs will be an advantage


8. Experience in using Test Measurement Tools such as Drive Test Tools, Spectrum Analysers, Scanners, nemo tools and Power Meters


9. Good analytical skills


10. Excellent team work and interpersonal skills
