Network Engineer (Project Implementation)

Responsibility

Gather business and/or application requirements on the infrastructure to plan, design, install, test & implement systems in accordance with the specifications & service level.

Aligned or enhanced ITSM/ITIL methodologies in daily operations e.g. Change, Incident, problem, release management & CMDB.

Monitor & measure the performance & availability of systems proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve performance & service level availability.

Respond promptly to incident, root cause analysis & provide temporary and/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.

Implement service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures & disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.

Assist in preparation of proposals and solution presentations.

Attain key certifications for partnership with key vendors.

Requirement

At least 3-5 years in technical implementation of IT network projects

CCNP Certification is must

Proven track record in assuming technical responsibility implementing multi-million dollars IT network projects in both the government and/or commercial sectors

Monitor and control the project progress, schedule and deliverables

Experienced and familiarity with Structured Cabling, Network, wireless LAN and routing technologies, network solutions using CISCO, ALCATEL LUCENT network equipment as well as their management systems (NMS). Added advantage for those who is having converged communication experience or implemented complex technicality such as MPLS, Converged UC, IPv6 and/or security

Excellent customer relationship management, sub-contractor management, presentation, and proposal writing skills

Experienced in design of LAN/WAN infrastructure solutions and it\\\'s deliverables

Educational Qualification: Diploma / Degree

Prefer Skill: Cisco Integrated Services Router,Cisco Nexus Series, Alcatel Lucent, Cisco Catalyst Switch
