HR Manager (Business Partner)



JD:
As part of a HR team, to provide HR functions in the areas of recruitment, performance management, training and development, employee engagement and other HR admin for a business unit of staff strength about 600.

Manpower Planning
• Conduct screening and interviews for candidates
• Review manpower requirements with operations
• Develop and execute manpower staffing plan
• Prepare monthly manpower report
• Compute manpower indicators and conduct data analysis for management update/decision making
• Conduct exit interviews for resignees

Compensation & Benefits
• Conduct internal salary benchmarking and prepare salary proposals for new employees
• Conduct internal/external salary benchmarking and recommend salary/market adjustments for current employees

Performance Management & Recognition
• Conduct performance ranking sessions with senior management for reviewing performance grades, annual increments, bonuses & promotions
• Oversees the Spot-On award administration
• Organize the identification, selection and presentation of the various recognition awards, e.g. Model Employee Award, Long Service Awards etc

Learning and Development
• Track and monitor the buildup of the employees’ core competencies
• Organize and administer training programmes/classes
• Support the operations in the process of Learning Needs Analysis

Employee Involvement & Wellness
• Organize and host Communication Sessions & Celebrative Events
• Organize Chit Chat sessions for employees to meet with Management to address Human Resource and other issues
• Facilitate the implementation of Employee Opinion Survey (EOS)
• Collate, analyse and develop action plans to address issues arising from EOS
• Handle canteen caterers’ matters and contracts

Talent Management
• Facilitate the identification, tracking and management of Top Talents
• Facilitate the development and implementation of Succession Plans at Business Unit level

Leadership
• Provide leadership and guidance to the team of BHR in the execution of HR functions
• Build up the competency of the team of BHR through coaching and mentoring, learning needs analysis and role modelling
• Organise the BHR team to achieve a high level of efficiency and at the same time an effective level of redundancy

Other Appointment & Responsibilities
• Lead a project team on a case to case basis
• Conduct disciplinary counselling and warning sessions for employees
• Assume secondary appointment in committees/sub committees

Requirements:
- Degree in HR Management with engineering and manufacturing industry experience
- Posses industrial relations experience knowledge
- Posses high EQ and able to handle line managers and employees
- Posses sense of responsibility and hands-on
- Good team member and customer oriented




Other requirements:
- Pls source for candidates from manufacturing industry with headcount at least 600 and have supervisory experience for 1 to 2 staff under him or her.
