Technical Support (Data Centre)


Primary Purpose:


Provide 24 x 7 1st line on-site shift support to Business Application Systems and Data Centre infrastructure to maintain maximum service availability and performance



Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:



  • Monitor¬† Business Application Systems and Data Centre infrastructure and escalate alert according to standard procedures

  • Escalate for any incident or problem cases to appropriate support staff efficiently and effectively to help improve overall service availability

  • Monitor batch job activities and escalate problem to next level and ensure resolution.

  • Monitor and resolve basic Business Application Systems and infrastructure faults base on troubleshooting guide or procedure

  • Follow-up to ensure resolution of problem or incident escalated

  • Perform routine Operations and maintenances tasks

  • Document jobs or tasks executed as according to procedures

  • Upkeep of Operations support information including staff support contact information, SMS contact list, project support information etc. stay relevant and accurate

  • Perform any other duties assigned


Minimum Qualification:



  • NTC/ITC certificate, NCC Diploma or Diploma from a local Polytechnic



Experience required:


· The ability to understand specific guidelines or procedure to perform duties properly.



  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Data Center or technical support environment

  • Able to perform rotating 3 shift working hours
