Job Scope

1. Reports to the Solution Manager for platform & solution development


2. Involve in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with primary focus on  roadmap planning, requirement specification, systems design & integration


3. Play the role of Team Lead responsible for the architecture, design & development of key components. This shall involve leading a team of Software Engineers and/or sub-contractors to achieve the necessary deliverables


4. Work  with solution partners to integrate partner\\\'s software/hardware components according to specification


5. On-site deployment of solution at customer site for trial or POC purpose


6. Work closely with presales team to contribute to technical proposal based on RFP specification


7. Apply technical best practices to work, constantly explore new technology & methodologies to deliver high quality solutions

Requirements:

1. Masters / Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science / Engineering/ IT with 8+ years of experience in building large scale, highly scalable software solutions.  Diploma holders with 9+ years of similar experience can be considered


2. Experience in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of at least 2 large scale commercial application/product development projects


3. Domain knowledge of Safe/Smart Cities, C2/C4i, Telematic/M2M, Rail/Road  Transport, Environmental Monitoring solutions


4. Highly motivated, strong passion in software development/integration work & willing to work in a rapidly evolving environment


5. Experience in software development methodology such as Rational Unified Process (RUP), Agile


6. Good working knowledge of UML


7. Familiar with software version configuration tool, automated testing tools

Proficient in

• C/C++ or C#/.Net  or JAVA/J2EE platform including scalability & performance aspect in Windows and/or UNIX environment


• system integration using Web Services, RESTful,  major ESB, messaging bus, TCP/IP, SNMP etc


• XML, HTML5/HTML, JavaScript & libraries such as AJAX, JQuery, etc


• RDBMS & NOSQL design & operation

1. Deep working knowledge & hands on experience in one or more  of the following areas with keen interest to explore & develop expertise in unfamiliar areas:

• Graph-relationship NOSQL design & development


• Internet/open source search & retrieval, data mining & analytics


• Sensor integration using interface protocol such as: Web Services/RESTFul, SCADA, OPC, Lonworks, Bacnet, ONVIF etc with strong ability to understand & interpret new communication/sensor interface protocol. Good experience in audio & video sensor integration


• Geo-spatial 2D/3D map application development, visualization of sensors/devices/systems  or any object of interest status on the layer map


• Database /Big data analytic, visualization & predictive modelling


• Wireless & wired communications standards & respective communications protocols


• GSM/WCDMA/PSTN/LTE network architecture, signaling & application protocol


• Clouding computing platform such as Openstack
