Sales Engineer

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide quotation for project tender by understanding the technical requirements from clients

· To meet annual and monthly sales objectives with companies business plan

· Travel whenever needed in persuading clients and making presentations that our product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery

· Constant follow ups with clients

· Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing sales information, engineering and cost of sales

· Responsible for co-ordination of job orders with operation department and Quality department on technical requirements of clients

· Support in searching for new clients who could benefit from your products in a designated region

· Supporting marketing by planning/attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events

· Helping in Solving client problems and design of custom-made products

Candidate Requirements:

· Education: Minimum BS degree Engineering/Business.

· Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales/marketing of Industrial product, preferably in oil/gas, Refinery (vessel internals) industries. Good overall industry knowledge coupled with relevant technical sales experience

· Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, ability to build strong relationships and close business relation with client

· Mature & sound business and technical knowledge. Able to read Engineering drawings

· Willing to travel whenever required

· Must be Pro-active, able to be work independently

· Possess good negotiating skills

· Good Microsoft knowledge e.g. Excel, Word, power point presentation
