Job Scope

• Setup, configure & maintain the proper running of all servers, network equipment, PCs & other specialized equipment


• Regularly review, enhance & optimize the configurations of servers, network equipment & PCs for better security & lower running cost. Setup & maintain automated processes for applying latest software & OS patches & also the latest antivirus libraries


• Schedule, automate & maintain all daily, weekly & monthly backup processes for onsite and offsite centers


• Setup & release control of all in-house developed applications. Setup & maintain warm backup of key data between primary and secondary sites


• Provide infrastructure related support for any audit related activities


• Provide 24x7 onsite support (hardware / software) for servers, workstations and related peripherals to ensure the smooth production process


• Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance during the production down time or off-peak period (weekend or public holiday) to resolve servers & workstations for in-house applications related issues.


• Perform regular security checks by reviewing all server, network & relevant application logs, include hardening of servers and workstations. Perform vendor sourcing from multi-vendors to get the most price effective equipment/software for the company


• Possibility of travel

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT or equivalent qualification


• Microsoft certified system administrator


• Certified network administrator


• Certified software testing engineer
