Description of Responsibilities and Duties
1. ICP sample digestion, test solutions, volumetric solutions.
2. Physical testing- Hardness test, SEM, Tap Density, Density, BET, TMA, DTA
3.Analysis data collection and reporting.
4. Maintain Laboratory daily logistic, consumables stock.
5. Maintain Laboratory equipment /tools calibration, verification schedule.
6.Maintain Laboratory cleanliness and participate in 5S

JAVA Project -to support Laboratory analysis increasing capacity
2. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Knowledge: (acquired information necessary to do the job) Min Diploma in Chemistry,
Physics and Science.
Skills: (acquired measurable behaviors) Posses experience working in Chemical Lab
environment, knowledge about chemical and safety in Laboratory. Ability to add,
subtracts, multiply and converts calculations to percentage and to metric system.
Abilities: (natural talents or developed proficiencies, aptitudes)
Multitasking to carry out daily task and testing.
4. Education and/or Experience:
(Levels of general education & experience should be stated as the minimum level required to
perform the duties noted in section 2. Be realistic in view of the duties and responsibilities).
Education: Min Diploma in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physics or relevant. Strong
in Metallurgy knowledge will be an advantage.
Experience: Working in Chemical Laboratory

7. Working Conditions:
Give an indication of the physical environment in which the work is performed. When possible make note of the intensity, frequency, & duration of conditions which the employee may find unpleasant or hazardous. For an office environment, just indicate “Office Environment”
Exposed to chemical compounds. Laboratory requires safety equipment (goggles, safety shoes) at all times. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The Laboratory technicians are assigned shifts that include evening, nights and/or weekend days.
