Job Description:

· Monitor materials stock availability according to Master Production Schedule and all Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) items for projects

· Provide inputs on material shortages to Supply Planner through monitoring of stock status

· Expedite materials shortages by consistent follow-up with other departments/ team members

· Responsible to provide inputs on VMI inventory at vendor locations

· Liaise with VMI vendors and Production to ensure right quantity of materials are available at the right time to meet production requirements

· Generate Purchase Requisition (PR) for materials purchase

· Assist Supply Planner to liaise with Warehouse on materials issues

· Attend & conduct meeting and provide updates on current materials & spares status to team members

· Ensure consistent monitoring of actual response time of deliveries from Warehouse to Production against scheduled timeline

· Ensure that all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are accomplished


· Diploma in Logistics/ Transportation/ Supply Chain/ Manufacturing or equivalent

· At least 2 years of related work experience, preferably with VMI experience

· Knowledge in SAP system & SSA WMS system and proficiency in MS Excel are added advantages

· Team player with good interpersonal skills & work attitude and able to embrace change positively

· Able to multi-task and also work independently in a fast paced environment
